The first design details have been revealed for The International, a high-end apartment complex in Brighton.
The five-storey development, a joint project by Landream and V-Leader, will offer 59 one to four-bedroom luxury suites across two buildings on the site of former reception venue The Brighton International.
The suites will feature bay and city views, a wine cellar, multi-level basement carpark, communal lounge, corporate meeting rooms, private dining facilities and a rooftop entertaining area.
A new restaurant is also planned for Bay St as part of the $100 million-plus project.
The award-winning team of architects and interior designers behind the display suite, which is due to open soon, are also responsible for the exclusive Jackalope hotel on the Mornington Peninsula.
Principal designer Sue Carr said the team had worked hard to create a “sense of place and luxury”.
“With a deep commitment to the community and streetscape, we’ve set out to create a Bayside urban sanctuary interlaid with robust greenery and landscaping,” she said.
Each resident will have access to secure individual storage in the wine cellar and a concierge service.
There’s also the option of booking the private dining room for up to 20 guests, complete with a back-of-house kitchen for catering.
CBRE’s Victorian director of residential projects, Henry Burbury, said the display suite, with its sensory touchpoints and interactive technology, would offer a “fully immersive” experience for buyers.
“The International display suite will illustrate everything they can expect from the development, from the landscaping through to the exterior and interior finishes,” he said.
